Cavallino 271 (February–March 2026) is here! Our cover car is the first manufactured 1967 Ferrari 275 N.A.R.T. Spyder, one of only two built with an alloy body. We also feature the very last 1989 Ferrari 328 GTS made, beautifully preserved: the perfect example to celebrate the model’s 40th anniversary. In the events section, we report the allure of Cavallino Classic Middle East 2025 and Ferrari’s celebration of a year of motorsport with the Finali Mondiali 2025, held at the Mugello Circuit.This issue is packed with racing content: we explore the new Formula 1 regulations for the 2026 season and how they will transform the single seaters. We also asked Antonello Coletta to write for us his emotions behind winning the Hypercar World Championship. Issue 271 is a deep dive into the very best of Ferrari world.
1967 Ferrari 275 N.A.R.T. Spyder s/n 09437

The first, of the only 10 manufactured, s/n 09437 lived an amazing early life, as a racer and as a movie star. Equipped with an alloy body (one of the only two made in this way) it debuted at Sebring with Denise McClugage behind the steering wheel, to race the 12 Hours. Soon after, repainted in dark brown, entered the cast of the movie “The Thomas Crown Affair with Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway. Its impact was so deep, that “the King of Cool” bought one for himself after the filming. Now part of one of the most important Italian car collections, and successfully exploiting her new career as a beauty queen at Concourses of Elegances, is carefully maintained and driven to be preserved for the next generations.
To better understand the people that helped 275 N.A.R.T. Spyder s/n 09437 to become the star it is, we dig into the life and historical importance in the car world of Denise McCluggage and Steve McQueen, that shared with this car a moment of their (working) life.
1989 328 GTS s/n 83136

A wonderfully preserved 328 GTS but not only: s/n 83136 is the very last of this successful series manufactured, leaving the Maranello factory in October 1989. Sold in Switzerland, where it spent the first part of its life, it then moved to France before entering a Belgian collection, The current caretaker had a 328 GTB when in his early twenties as his everyday car, and beside several other Ferraris in his stable, always missed it. This feature celebrates the whole 328 series, in its 40th anniversary.
Cavallino Classic Middle East 2025

Cavallino Classic Middle East is six years old only, but already a well-established tradition for Ferrari lovers in the UAE region. Hosted at Yas Links, sharing the venue with Casa Ferrari, the last F1 race week-end of the season, it is the place where to be to enjoy Italian style, food and cars. Indeed, an amazing display o classic Ferraris, mostly youngtimers, were judged to select the Best of Shows, yes, two, one for the Granturismo Category, and another one for the Competition, with some very unique pieces impossible to see anywhere else around the world.
Finali Mondiali 2025 at the Mugello Circuit

To recap his racing season, Ferrari organizes the Finali Mondiali, where the GT competitors from all over the world, challenge each other for the titles but not only. It is a racing and celebratory weekend, in a sort of racing Ferrari gathering with no equal in the world. This year held at Mugello race track, it showed F1s, 499Ps and many classics too.
2026 is the year of Formula 1 revolution

2026 will be a revolutionary year in F1, with, for the first time in history, the new rules deeply impacting at the same time the chassis-aerodynamic and the engine. The challenge to create the new winning car is on the table, and we analyzed every single detail of what it was and what will be. Impossible to do not note how little will be left unchanged. Definitely a new start: let us hope.
Stean Johansson: from racing to painting

Stean Johansson is one of the only around 100 drivers that raced a F1 Ferrari. He did it in 1985 and 1986 and here he shares his memory, some anecdotes and how, after racing outside F1 for some years too, including winning a 24 Hours of Le Mans, he reinvented himself as a painter. We asked Ferrari Global Head of Endurance and Corse Clienti, Antonello Coletta, to reveal his secrets and emotion after winning the Hypercars World Championship. He wrote his lines just hours after Race 8, in Bahrain, where the Ferrari team he leads become World Champion, a result missing in the Maranello’s firm Palmares since 1972, 53 years ago.
